The Dubbo Aquatic Leisure Centre is located in the heart of Dubbo and a hive of activity in the summer months featuring a heated Olympic size outdoor swimming pool, children’s leisure pool, splash park and water slides.

Reporting to the Aquatic Leisure Centres Manager, the Aquatic Leisure Centre Coordinator manages the operation of the Dubbo Aquatic Leisure Centre within the designated budget and ensures a high standards of water quality and safety at the aquatic centres, overseeing and operating aquatic centre plant and equipment, coordinating maintenance and cleaning as well as rostering, supervising and mentoring aquatic centre employees. The role requires flexibility to work 38 hours per week spread over a Monday to Sunday rotating roster including early morning and/or evening shifts and weekend work at the Aquatic Centres in Dubbo.

This position would suit an individual who has experience in an aquatic centre environment working in a pool management or facility coordination capacity.

To be considered for this role you will have demonstrated experience in managing aquatics professionals as well as the operation and maintenance of water treatment and WHS requirements. You will also have the ability to inspire and motivate staff to ensure the development of highly professional staff behaviour. Pool Lifeguard and Pool Operations qualifications are required.
