Swim Coach and Teacher WANTED!

Job Description:
Located in Central Queensland in the townships of Boyne Island and Tannum Sands the Boyne Tannum Bullets Swim Club is a rapidly expanding club. The club’s swim program is continually evolving with the vision of creating a swimming community that can offer multiple pathways to access, learn and love the sport of swimming - starting with 4-year-old beginners all the way to State and National level representatives. The club is now looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Junior Swim Coach to assist in the coaching and coordination of our junior program and assist in the delivery of squad training under the direction of the Head Coach.
Duties/Roles will include:
- Coaching Junior and Development Level Squad Programs
- Manage communication with Junior swimmers and parents.
- Assist with the delivery of Learn to Swim Lessons
- Assist at some club nights and swim meets
- Assist with senior level swimming as required
Favorable Attributes:
- Ability to manage groups and keep the energy flowing in a manner that keeps kids safe, active and engaged.
- Experience coordinating teachers and LTS levels would be a bonus!
Key Criteria:
- Teacher of Competitive Strokes Certificate. Bronze (Development) level favorable
- Two years coaching and/or swim teaching experience
- Current Employee Bluecard
- Current First Aid
- Current CPR
- Australian citizenship or permanent residence status

The role will start with approx. 10 hours per week - with room for growth as the program expands.
