Ringwood Swimming Club are seeking an enthusiastic and vibrant Head Coach prepared to provide both leadership and direction. The successful applicant will be responsible for a swimming program that caters for squads from Junior level through to State and National level.

We are seeking a Head Coach who is passionate about swimming and has the ability to develop our swimmers to their full potential, whilst maintaining their enthusiasm and enjoyment of this sport. Our new Head Coach will be directly responsible for the planning and facilitation of training sessions and development for our National and senior State level swimmers whilst offering leadership, direction and support to the entire coaching team in the delivery of our diverse swimming program.

Ringwood Swimming Club Incorporated (RSC) has been part of the local community for more than 80 years and is committed to providing an inclusive swimming environment for swimmers of all abilities and levels. RSC predominantly trains out of Aquanation in Ringwood. This new pool is a state of the art, FINA compliant, 10-lane, 50m pool and provides all of the facilities needed for our swimming club, including our own club rooms and access to the new fitness centre. RSC also trains out of Aquahub, a 25m pool, located in Croydon.

The successful applicant will possess:
• Minimum Development/Bronze License Swimming Qualification (Advanced/Silver License preferred)
• ASCTA membership
• Current Working with Children’s Check
• Minimum two years’ experience coaching at state level or higher
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
• Excellent communication skills at all levels – swimmers, parents, public and swimming bodies.

Hours – This is a permanent part time role involving morning and evening squad sessions – minimum 28 hours per week; plus swim meets as required on weekends.
