More Information
The Mossman Meteors Swimming Club is looking for a self-employed ASCTA accredited swimming coach who preferably has experience as a competitive squad coach and wants to step up to a head coach position. This business is a walk-in business, already set up and successfully running!

The applicant we seek will be a pro-active, organised, go-getter with the drive to take our club to the next level and build them self a successful coaching business. Currently the majority of swimmers are at development level and our new Coach needs to have:

- A good foundation in junior & age group swimmers’ development

NO Lane Hire is required! The club has 3 lanes reserved 5 days of the week. The current rate payable to the pool operator is $3 per head.

The business will run alongside the Mossman Meteors Swimming Club, so the ability to work with the Club Management Committee is essential.

The club currently has 90 swimming club members and there is great potential to grow these numbers as the club has been growing continuously over the last 4 years. Training takes place at the 8 lane / 50m Mossman Bicentennial Pool, AM / PM, 5 days per week.

Mossman Meteors Swimming Club is located in beautiful Far North Queensland, the Tropics of Australia and the only place with two adjoining World Heritage listed areas. The Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics. This area combines the best of a laid-back tropical lifestyle with world-class attractions and facilities. From the sophisticated worldly comforts of Port Douglas to the remote village atmosphere of Cape Tribulation, there are activities and opportunities to suit everyone.

The Club is servicing Port Douglas / Mossman and surrounding areas such as Daintree and Julatten.

The Mossman Pool and adjacent Caravan Park lease will be up for renewal in 2020 which, for the right person, would potentially be another business growth opportunity. The Club has had positive feedback from the Douglas Shire Council to further grow access to the pool in the near future.
